big problem!!! cannot change album permission :(

if I change the album permission like properties =>Album can be viewed by 'registered' oder new group 'friends' it won't be changed.

it is a new installation with no modifications and the files attributes are all 777.

what can I do?

I'm having this problem, too.

One of my users has created a personal album. She wants to change the permissions so the album can be viewed by Everyone. When she changes it and applies the change, it reverts to Me Only. I've tried to change it as Admin, and it won't work for me either. It reverts to Me Only.

Are you using an album password?

Yes, she does have a password in there. Should I ask her to delete it when she updates the permissions?
