My Gallery has just been upgraded via Fantastico on my ISP to v1.4.12 and now my image search function is not working as expected.

The search itself works but when I try to view any found image I get the same files of a previous old search (6 coral files).

My gallery is at:  http://www.xtalent.com.au/gallery/

This is my first post and I have scoured the docs and online topics to find an answer but to no avail.

My last resort, fearing bad karma, is to ask here if help may be at hand.

Many thanks

Duncan

Can you explain it with a real example?

Thanks for the quick response Sami.

If I go to my gallery and search for say "bacteria" I get a long list of files that relate to bacteria. When I click on any of the found files I get one of the 6 old found coral images (from an old search - I think the first one I did after the upgrade).

Everything else seems to be working but this small problem.

Thanks again

Me again ....

after seeing a listing about possible relation to cookies I tried this from another computer and it seems to work fine. Therefore there must be something askew on the original computer I used. If so then it would seem that I need to remove a cookie but I cannot see which one would be relevant and dare not delete all of them.

Sorry for being a newbie ....

where did you read about cookie stuff ?
It seems as a [browser/proxy] cache issue , Ctrl+f5 may help you
BTW the cookie name is :cpg133_data

Hi Sami

I found a few references to cookies:

http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=40823.0
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=34262.0

I just tried Ctrl-F5 without success in Internet Explorer.

I cannot find a cookie with the name cpg133_data.

I just tried searching with Mozilla Firefox and all is working fine so it is definitley something to do with IE on this computer and not Coppermine itself.

I will need to seek out a solution myself as it is obviously not a Coppermine issue.  Thanks for all your help, it is much appreciated, but I won't take up more of your time with this problem.

Kind regards

Duncan

Now I see :)
That is a cookie issue indeed
marking this thread as a Closed

You can find the cookie under Temporary Internet Files folder with this name (type is txt):
Cookie:[your username]@[your site address]
