I would like to add a few features to my modified 1.2.1.

I have modified quite a few aspects of my site, and am looking for a few more that I cannot complete on my own.  I am willing to pay $100 for two features, and perhaps more if needed.

There are two options that I am willing to accept.  The first is just to add the 2 features to my current version of 1.2.1. (Yes, I am aware that it is old and that it should be updated - this is where option 2 comes in).  Option 2 is to update my current gallery to the newest version and then add on any features that are missing at that point.  I don't know what is easier, but I am willing to pay whatever it takes, so long as it is reasonable.

The two features are:
-Notification emails on comments to subscribed users
-Private Message system

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

His pack is for 1.4X.  I am currently on 1.2.1.

Just noticed you are using a very early version of coppermine. You really should upgrade as there are some security problems discovered in earlire versions.

My skills are not brilliant but I should be able to manage this if you don't have too many modifications.

What is modified?

Drop me a PM and I will try an help. If all is successful then you can make a donation to the soundforge project as suggested here.

There have been many many modifications in the 3 years that I have used Coppermine.  To be honest, I have really lost count.  Some may be very intrusive to the files while others may simply be new .php files.

If there are some files, such as the displayimage.php file, etc, I could zip those and send them and you can see if it'll be a problem to do the modifications.

The more I think at this, the more I am swaying towards the idea of upgrading to the latest version of Coppermine, updating the latest "mod pack", and then hiring a programmer to make all the other changes that are needed.

Not upgrading cpg1.2.1 is not an option. It is absolutely mandatory to upgrade to cpg1.4.x no matter what. If your gallery is heavily modified, find out the differences between your modified version and a vanilla version using a diff viwer like Winmerge, note the changes. Then upgrade and re-apply your customizations using the notes you took earlier. It is very likely that many of your modifications already have been implemented into cpg1.4.x, so you won't have to re-appyl them.
