I have uploaded an album with permissions " Everybody can view"  But when ever acess the homepage of the album, its asking me to login. I have also disabled user registrations. Only admin can login/upload. Dunno how to change this.

You have set "Allow unlogged users (guest or anonymous) access" to "no" in Coppermine's config (default is "yes"). Set it back to "yes" and you should be fine.
