Alternative link for extra filetypes

Hmm... I don't know if this idea has been put forward before, but wouldn't it be a good idea to put a link below for example movies that will allow people to download a certain file manually instead of opening it in the browser?

For example:
"If this file does not show, right-click this link and press "Save target as...." to download it onto your computer"

But probably preferrably a bit shorter than that, like this?
"Movie not playing? Click here to download it"

You would have to take some filetypes out, like .swf, but I think that this would certainly improve accessibility.
