Excluding IP address or user from view count?

Is there a way to prevent a particular IP address or user from adding to the view count?

I find as admin, the images I view add to the count and I'd rather they didn't. I know it doesn't count the same image twice but I find that only happens per session, and when I log in a few days later it adds to the count again if I view the same image.

currently, such a feature doesn't exist, but we'll consider it for future versions. I moved your posting to the feature request board fo that reason.
