Coppermine/SMF problem with getting redirected to the forum after bridging

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine version 1.4.13  and SMF 1.14

The gallery website keeps getting redirected to the forum.  It seems like the bridging works intially following all the steps in the coppermine documentation. 
Then I go into a forum and follow a link like this posted in a forum topic: www.wcupilams.com/gallery and I get the forum login page again. 
I am not sure what could be causing this?

I am using a custom template for my smf forum, but with coppermine I am using the standard classic theme, no mods, no nothing.  The forum has only a few mods as well, very minimal install.

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.wcupilams/forum

Cookie name/preifx  wcupilamscookie463
