Hi,
I have spent some time searching the forum for this subject, but I wasn't successfull. I was wondering if there is a way how to copy Exif "description" field (if it exists of course) into CPG description and db, so as I wouldn't have to do it manually with each picture? I know there is no problem display the Exif info including the description (and I have it running), however, I would prefer, if common users with information window turned off would still see the description of the file.

Such a feature is not built into the coppermine user interface, but you could come up with a little query and run that using phpMyAdmin or similar.

Thanks for reply, unfortunatelly I thought so, I was looking for mods too. I'm rather affraid that I will fail to come up with a solution you suggest, since I'm not a programmer (I hardly manage simple alterations, if well docimented  :-\), however I understand the principle you have in mind.
