Layout frontpage categories only no albums

Hello, I want to have a frontpage with categories only, no albums.

In my case this does not seem to work as described in the documentation and faq

I have setup the frontpage layout as: breadcrumb/catlist (so no albumlist defined)
I have tried to set the number of albums to 0, but this is reset to 1 automaticaly

It does not matter how I set it up, it always shows the albums.

Anybody a suggestion what I am doing wrong?

Found it already,

I had to set the parameter in config for: Show first level album thumbnails in categories
The dutch translation of this parameter was confusing.
