Remove stats from home page

Hi.  I need help to remove the stats that appear on my homepage (ie: 50 files in 5 albums with 0 comments viewed 213 times) and next to each category, especially "last one added on April..."   I'm using the Rin Theme.

Please explain in newbie language.
