Bulk edit image descriptions

Is there any way to bulk add/edit/modify the description or keywords of ALL images in a particular gallery or category?

Not a feature using the coppermine user interface. Afaik there might be a plugin or mod that does this. Another option is to manually run a query on the database using a tool llike phpMyAdmin.
