Permissions to comment, rate, add to favorites

Hello,

Right now on my CPG unregistered users when viewing a picture are able to see the form to leave a comment, the stars to click to rate the picture, and an "add this picture to your favorites" button (from File Information).  What I want to do is set the permissions so that when unregistered users click on any of these three items they will get a message like "You must be a Registered User To Use This Feature" and then get redirected to the registration page.  Is this possible?

Yes well I have no idea where to start with coding it that is why I am asking for help.  Can you point me in the right direction as where to start?
