Hallo,
I am not expert in dreamwaver, html editors,... but have already played a little with these tools
Could somebody write to me (or, if it is a big job, indicate the file name to edit and position of code to change) the original code and the modified code to modify eyeball theme in the following way :

- place the thumbs on left of image like classic filmstrip vert. Ounce again I like to see the original size 640x480 on my screen and I always need to use scroll bars to access to filmstrip below which is tedious

- remove the four white icons sql, css, html,... which are too flashy on the eyeball black background. I find normal to display "powered by coppermine" text but not all drivers,... advertisements used behind

These modifications are quite generic and could be used on several themes easily I think

Thanks for help
Best regards

Marc

Look at the classic filmstrip vert theme to see how to do this.

You can disable the vanity icons on config. One question per thread please.

I have found the vanity icons. It is nice now, thanks.

There are a lot of files for each theme. Could you please indicate the name/ext of the file I need to open with the clipboard (do you advise dreamwaver
to edit themes ?) and a rough indication of the position of the part of code to modify (label name, section name or something like that) ?

Thanks a lot

Don't use a WYSIWYG-editor like Dreamweaver, but a plain text editor like "Notepad.exe"

Thanks but I have opened eyeball and classic vertical strip html pages to compare the code of the two strip bars
and I really don't understand which part of code I could copy from vertical strip to eyeball (or classic or andreas09,...)
to have thumbs strip at left or right of the picture instead of at bottom. There are a lot of arguments, functions and variables hard to understand
at first glance.

Could you please help me ?

I have seen a similar post about strip on right but I haven't understood all things with "cg on right",...

It is a pity for users like me, not skilled in html code, that the position of the strip bar, its number of rows, columns (I like 4x4 in simple viewer) and the presence or not of the small square icons at both sides to simulate a film strip are not parameters of the config menu. Isn't it possible to add these features in a future release ?

If we take the theme "classic vertical strip" which has a look very simple like classic one, we loose all the beautiful features we could have
with the other 149 user-themes ! My opinion is that it is more difficult to transform classic vertical strip to eyeball, andreas09,... than to allow to move the film strip

Best regards
Marc
