OK I have been struggling to figure this out, since my problem seems to come and go.  Well now I know why.  You can see by the link below that it stretches across the screen. (youtube video upload)

You can see from the link below the comment wraps, this wraps for everything (pics, music) except the youtube video uploads.

hope you can help me figure this one out.

Wrap the comments section into a div with fixed width then.

You reported your similar thread "I need my comments and description length fixed." to be closed (without specifying what you did to solve your issues). Can this thread be marked as "solved"? What did you do to fix your issues?

disposition

As you can see by the links I didn't get it fixed when you have a youtube video uploaded. I am not even sure where to put code to make this happen, I assume it is an issue with the youtube mod but I really don't want to make a mistake and ruin something else. You say "Wrap the comments section into a div with fixed width then".  I will be honest I have no idea how to do this or where since some parts of the site works and some doesn't.

As for asking the other thread to be closed, I thought it was fixed but hen I realized that the comments wrap was fine within pics and audio just doesn't in the youtube video uploads.  So now I must figure out why it doesn't wrap with youtube uploads. I a bit weary to make changes without knowing properly since it can make my whole gallery rendered useless.

I am certainly not asking you to do this for me, you will know this when I repost it under freelance (I certainly am not very good at this), but I do need additional help and I am willing to keep trying.

Thanks!

I have a bit of extra info.  I noticed something new that will most likely get me some answers a bit easier.  If you look at the this link: http://www.blackdeathmetal.com/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=2 you can see comments wrap and what not but in this link http://www.blackdeathmetal.com/displayimage.php?pos=-131 it does not.

What I found out is that the pages with the youtube upload the grey box that surrounds the video also surrounds the comment box, which does not do that in pics or mp3.  So now I need to figure out how to get the whole table to not surround the comments or comment box.

I hope I explained this OK,.

Thanks for your help!

I am still trying to work this out and still don't know why the youtube upload surround box surrounds the comment box.

Impossible to tell without seeing what you actually did. I think I have told you this before: if you have questions on your themes, then zip your custom theme folder and attach the zip to your posting. This is the only way supporters could look at what you did. From your previous record of improper nesting HTML tags I guess that this might be this case for this issue as well.

Thanks for the reply,  I am sure it is an html problem but I can't find it, it confuses me because some (mp3s, pics,) are fine but the youtube mod isn't.  Not sure why it wraps the whole comment area.

Anyway I attached the theme.  Thanks for your help.

Nibbler

Try the attached theme.php. I don't know if it will fix anything but it's cleaner. You should not have copied the entire custom theme; you only copy what you want to change.

I see, I copied the whole thing at one pint and thought that was O.K. since everything was running mostly well.  Anyway it worked perfect now I totally get why it was acting that way.  Thanks for your help nibbler.
