version compatibility

will cpmfetch v 2.0 work on a CPG v 1.4.12 install?  I have cpmfetch v 1.6.2 and am getting the following message after an error-free install:

Unknown column 'u.user_website' in 'field list'
Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/padvc/public_html/cpmfetch/cpmfetch_dao.php on line 710


http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=31997.0 suggests that an upgrade to cpmfetch solves the above issue but it was posted back in 2006 and there are no mentions of which version was used.

thanks...I hope I didn't miss any key information in this post...I've searched the boards for an hour and found that people who don't give you everything you need to know get tarred and feathered around here.  If it turns out I can upgrade and solve this problem then I'll try, and if things don't work then I'll be back.
