Problem with Batch Add in e107 Installation

Okay, I have coppermine installed in e107.  It seems to work beautifully; however, I cannot get the batch add files function to work properlly.  I have the folder of pictures uploaded in the "albums" folder.  I have the folder with the pics with permission set at 777.  Now, when I click on the Batch Add icon and the screen changes where the file names and thumbnails usually show up, all I am getting are the "red x" as shown below.

Any advice/help? 

Thank you ahead of time for any assistance you may be able to provide.  I am extremely lost and in despair over this.

Read up the sections "upload troubleshooting" and "asking for support on upload issues" of the docs and do exactly as suggested there.
