Imagemagick doesn't always do every pic

I've noticed a problem when batch adding pics. Occassionally I will have some pictures that do not say "OK" on them. I've clicked on a few of these dead links and it says something like "Imagemagic error 1."

At first I thought these pictures where corrupted or where 0KB sized pictures. However, when I isolate pictures, they load just fine from server.

It sounds like this is some type of error/bug in Imagemagik. I'm running version that is pretty up to date (5.5.7.15-0.2) on Redhat Enterprise. Anyone else notice this problem?
