I've tried to delete coppermine database and.. Success
after that I've also tried to delete files, and.. inSuccess :(( ..There is no way to delete the albums folder.. I've tried to change permission of the folder and it won't let me do it.. this thing is also available for subdirectories and files in it!
Any ideea?!

Ask your host to change the permissions for you.

Yea.. I will do that!
But, I wanted to delete it myself! I think it's stupid to ask your host to delete a file.
I have a paid host. With cpanel and all the things.. normally it can be deleted without requesting help to my host!
There got'tha be a solution..

The user the webserver runs under is the user who "owns" files created by the script (i.e. files that coppermine created like thumbnails or intermediate sized images). If your webserver is not set up properly, your FTP user doesn't have permission to delete files owned by the user the webserver runs under. This is a matter of webserver setup, not a coppermine issue. Therefor, there is no use in posting your above rant. Do as suggested: ask your webhost for support. You're welcome to show them this thread - they'll know what to do, and if they are nice folks, they'll explain the details. Don't expect us to fix your issues, or rather: issues caused by the way your webserver is set up.
