A few probloms

well fist off i have everything up and running but i want to know how to display more than 8 images on the first page and my other problom is that i cant seem to fix no matter what, is that in my config tab i cant make any changes to cuz i dont have a "submit" button and ontop of the blue bar it says "invalad action". i have tried to reinstall and maybe i got a bad copy i dont know? any help would be great i am new to this thanx alot everyone.
