[Solved]: About category's

I made some category's.  I was hopping that regular users would be able to sort their stuff in these category's but for some reason in User mode the only category available is the user gallery.  I want people to be able to sort their pictures in these category's.  I read a thread that said something about allowing them to do so.. but i cant find were it is that I edit this information.  i thought it was in the Groups category but that isn't it.. cause i have tried to edit the properties there perhaps i didn't edit the right ones.  Can someone give me a little more in depth information on how to make these category's available to users?

You need to create an Album under category
- post a link to your gallery

Uploads go into albums, not into categories. Create albums within your categories. Non-admin users can't create albums within public categories. Also read the docs to find out what user mode is meant to be used for - it is not meant to show what regular users can do.

also is there a way to put validation numbers in with the registration.. i am not sure what they are called really.. but its were you have to type in a series of letters and or numbers correctly in order to Finnish registration.

We have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up. Your second question on this thread will therefor go ignored. WHat you're up to is named "captcha". Search the board for it. If you can't find an easy answer, start a new thread for this issue.

No, what i want is for users to be able to put their pics in them albums also and not just me.. Or if I make these albums for the users, if it will make more albums on my front page, or put them in the same albums that are already there because they are of the same name?

Then allow your users to upload to public albums (groups control panel). Then go to the album properties screen of the albums where your users are supposed to uplad to and set "visitors can upload" to yes. Is being covered in the docs.
