This is really not a Coppermine support question and should probably go in the General forum but there's no way to start a new topic there so I wasn't sure where to ask this.  Please move if necessary (and be gentle with me, I'm trying to help! ;))

I'd like to upload a Coppermine logo to the English Wikipedia article on Coppermine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coppermine_Photo_Gallery).  I wanted to ask if the Coppermine logo falls under the same free license as Coppermine (GNU/GPL), or if it's copyrighted separately under different licensing?  If it falls under GPL I can simply upload it and mark it as GPL and free.  Otherwise I'd have to upload it as "fair use" (barring any objections here, of course).

Thanks much,
-Tim

As the logo is being released with coppermine (which comes under GNU GPL), the logo is being released under that license as well, so yes: please go ahead and use the logo on Wikipedia as you suggested. You might want to use the new logo (see http://coppermine-gallery.net/forum/index.php?topic=44215.0), which will be bundled with cpg1.5.x.
