Don't try batch-adding first. You have to make sure that "regular" http uploads work in the first place. If they do, you can take care of batch-add issues. This being said, read the docs and do exactly as suggested there, sections "upload troubleshooting" and "asking for support on upload issues". We tell this each and every newbie who comes here with questions identical to yours, so if you would have searched the board before posting, you would have figured out that our answer is always the same: RTFM and do as suggested there. As I said above: it contains a section that explains what you need to do when asking for support on upload issues. Failing to do so will result in supporters getting mad at you and you ending up frustrated because you can't get things to work.

Why does nobody read the docs or search the board before asking the same question over and over again? When I was a newbie, I would never have dared to post a question without having read the docs, simply because I was afraid that I would get a snappy answer (the same snappy answer that I'm forced to post over and over now as a supporter).

i've tried HTTP uploading, an it still says the same error.
and im being hosted by a webhost so imagemagick wont work.
an the permissions are correct: 777

i've tried the trouble shooting:

the error:

No file was uploaded !

If you have really selected a file to upload, check that the server allows file uploads...

I have nothing more to say unless you do.
