check if your server allows you to upload

Hello all,
I do not need anyone to test my gallery. I just have a question. For the second time, one of my users told me that he got the following error after uploading: "check if your server allows you to upload". He was able to upload a couple images, but not all. Does anyone know what this error could possible mean since most of the users are having no issues?

Maybe his image are not in RGB, but CMYK. Coppermine can only handle RGB. Impossible for sure without seeing the actual pic he tried to upload.
