Login trouble from gallery after bridging

I apologize up front if this is a dumb question or has been answered elsewhere, but I can't seem to find the answer. I have two basic problems.

I am running Joomla 1.0.15 and have bridged it to Coppermine 1.4.16 with mehdi's bridge. Everything seems to be working fine. I installed CB and still everything looks good. I can log in with the CB login and am logged into the gallery as well, so the bridge does what it should. The only problem is when I am on the gallery page, if I log in or out of Joomla (using the CB login/logout component) it is sending me to the localhost index page rather than the domain. This is obviously a page that can't be loaded. The login works fine from any other page in my Joomla site, just not from the Gallery page. I don't think this is a CB issue because I think it was happening before I installed it. Does anybody have an idea what's going wrong?
