Bridging question

I`m thinking of using Coppermine as a gallery for our community members on our myBB forum.

Say I installed coppermine into a folder called "gallerytest" and bridged it to our forum which is in the folder "forums". Once everything is working, can I rename the gallery folder to "gallery" or something else, would this cause any problems to the bridge? I understand I would need to update the gallery location in configs, but I was hoping to bridge would not be affected.
