Searched but couldn't find an answer:

I have a large gallery which uses 'Gallery'  - is there an importer for coppermine to import from gallery?

no, afaik nobody has come up with an importer from menalto gallery to coppermine yet.

True - the thread seems to have disappeared - casNuy the postNuke port developer was the one who was working on such a script
