last updated albums on mainpage

I have been looking at this on various peoples galleries for months trying to figure out how to do it. I asked some of the people who run this sites questions but never got responses.

I was curious if anyone knows how to put a list of the last updated albums on the main part of the gallery. This is an example of what I mean at this site. http://www.ultimatehilary.org/gallery/ Right at the top where it say last updated albums. If anyone knows how to do this please share thanks!!!
