I have attached an image at the bottom of this message in hopes it will explain better than my words can...

Is it possible to do the following:

Set an album to allow uploads from a certain group only?

I want to restrict members of a group to a couple albums...

Group 1 CAN upload to Album1 and Album2
Group 1 CANNOT upload to Album3 and Album4

Group 2 CAN upload to Album3 and Album4
Group 2 CANNOT upload to Album1 and Album2

Group 3 CAN upload to Album1, Album2 and Album3
Group 3 CANNOT upload to Album4

I hope that can explain what I am trying to ask....

I would like this so members of the "Nature Group" can all upload nature pics to the nature album but not into the Automobile album etc....

This "to me" seems like a much needed feature....

That and Netpbm (gif support) but i can live without netpbm...

Similar request, just different time. Adding such feature would require almost an overhaul of certain core in CPG.. the devs aren't ready to dive into this yet but I'm sure someone's definitely looking at it and scratching their heads.

I was looking at the permission settings in the mysql server for albums and the # that resides there is the number representing a certain group.

I'm thinking there may be a quick unsophisticated diy hack that could take advantage of that somehow.... I'll look into it more, but this is something I'd really like to get working as well, user interfaced or not, just so long as it does what I need it to do. :)
