cpg 1.2 install.php fails

hi, sorry that i am reposting, but i learned/tried  some new things which don't work  

i am trying to get cpg running but my install.php fails, after filling in my username and things and pressing let's go i get nothing but a coppermine logo. i tried the register_globals thing in php.ini and .htaccess.

if i don't fill in anything and press let's go no error message appears

i also put print_r($http_post_vars); in the install.php but it is always empty. i am using php4.2.2 & apache 2.0 on redhat linux 9.

maybe someone is willing to mail me his php.ini so i can compare it? my email is steinmet@xs4all.nl
