I'm having problems thinking through the site design for my site.  I could use some help regarding how to create the structure and installation.

Here's what I did:

1.  Installed e107 at the webroot.  Works fine.
2.  Installed VBulletin at the subdirectory /bb.  Works fine.
3.  Installed CM at the subdirectory /cm.  Worked fine.

Then I wanted to figure out how to bridge all three programs together.

4.  Installed the bridge between VBulletin and CM.  Worked fine.

Then I looked for the bridge information between e107 and either VB or CM.  Found the one that works between e107 and CM.  But also discovered that integrated themes don't work unless e107 and CM are loaded in the same directory.

5.  Found the thread that said to just move the files on the server and then edit the config.php file with the new path.
6.  Moved the files to the root directory.
7.  Here's the message I get when I browse to the site:

Fatal error: cpg_udb::require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../bb/includes/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php/') in /mounted-storage/home81b/sub001/sc44840-OTZJ/glassresearch.net/html/bridge/vbulletin30.inc.php on line 39

8.  Discovered that when I moved the CM files to the root directory it overwrote the index.php file from e107 with the one from CM.

Question #1:  At this point there is nothing that will prevent me from wiping the installs and starting over.  I would much rather have a clean install from the start.  BUT, is there something quick and easy I can modify that will make this work without reinstalling?

Question #2:  Should e107, CM and VB all be installed at the root directory?

Thanks!

Just in case there's any confusion I posted this topic in the integration/bridging forum since the bridging is going to be a major factor of what I should do next.

Gosh for a newbie with all of these programs I thought I was doing pretty good at asking intelligent questions.  Looks like someone else didn't think so since they negged my karma.  Sorry I intruded on these boards.

Ask for support on the e107 boards. The e107 port of coppermine goes unsupported here. Closing, locking. You haven't done as suggested in the docs and the sticky thread, hence no answer.
