Well, that fixed that - when I add a comment it says it added it and if I refresh the thumbnail page, it ups the comment count.  However, it doesn't seem to show any but the initial comment if you go back and view the comments thru the enlargeit interface.  Is it supposed to show all comments yet?  I'll add the test user back just in case...

jManuel

Previous beta versions showed no Spanish language errors, problems now with the letter "ñ" and accents, why?

A caching problem - works fine with firefox, IE will present the old page (although the comment has been added).

Don't know - the codebase didn't change. Only the files enl_styles.css, enl_comment.php and enl_addcomment.php have been modified.

hi,

Moved enl_comment.php and enl_addcomment.php since the beta version-12 to beta-15.
(Now perfect Spanish language).

Does that mean thats just the way its gonna work or is there something you're trying to make it act differently?  The only way I've been able to make the added comment display is to exit the browser completely - refreshing the page, switching images doesn't seem to get it to show.  Thanks for doing all this work and fielding questions too.

Just released v2.0 beta 16.

Changes since beta 15:
---------------------

- fixed: IE would present cached AJAX snippets (should fix the jdsmith issue)
- fixed: URL encoding would disturb page encoding in certain cases (hope this fixes the spanish language issue posted by jManuel)
- improved layout of comment snippet
- fixed: a possible reason for double postings

Please make sure to correctly uninstall any previous version before installing this beta, and empty your browser cache when done!

Have fun!
Timo

jManuel

This beta-16 works perfectly with the letters "ñ" and accents for Spanish language.

A great help for users of Spain.

Thank you Timos from spain.

Hi Timo,

the comment function did not work in my galeries and also in your galerie. (with v2.0 beta 16 in FF and IE)
After typing some text and pushing "OK", only a white page appears with "Du musst Deinen Namen und einen Kommentar eingeben" in the middle and "Back"-Button which does not work....:-(

Timos-Welt

Just released v2.0 beta 17.

- new: delete button now available on comment snippet

Please make sure to correctly uninstall any previous version before installing this beta, and empty your browser cache when done!

I'm sorry, a typo in the Javascript part killed the AJAX chain. Please download beta 17.

Delete "X" doesn't seem to do anything...  Also, when I try to add a comment now I get the "add comment and name" message like before.  Registered user issue again?  I left the "test" "test" login if you need it - www.jerrysmithphoto.com/cpg.

Timo, I admire your hard work. Your speed of releases is amazing.

Lolik is right though with his remark

in codebase.php you use
$enl_path = 'albums/'.
number of times, which assumes standard location of images.

Correct way would be
$enl_path = $CONFIG['fullpath'].
You should use the config var instead of the hard-coded "albums".

I just visited your gallery (made a comment in firefox, deleted a comment in firefox, made a comment in ie, deleted a comment in ie). Works fine.

Got another question though - any chance for a cpmfetch integration ? currently it redirects me to the intermediate picture and then open the full size regularly (as im guessing the plugin does not deal with the intermediate view).
I don't mind going to the intermediate view, i just want the full size to open nicely ^^

sorry to be bumping this, but is there any way i can make your plugin work from the intermediate page view ?

Timos-Welt

EnlargeIt! is the intermediate page view, so: No, sorry.

Hein Traag

Pay more attention to the first post in this thead: This plugin replaces the intermediate page with an AJAX gui

Timos-Welt
