error 500 on 1.4 build

Okay, I have been using my Coppermine album for 3-4 years now without any problems.

Tonight, I was playing in config area of Coppermine and clicked on "plug in manager", viewed that page, and then bam, it's completely down,

"Server error!

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster"

I have searched here in the forums, but wow, there is thousands of instances listed for this error.

I can't connect at all to the site, let alone get back in and modify what is worng.
