Thumbnail is there but no image when clicked

First - thanks for all of the great info. I have read all of faqs/links to help fix my im/gd issue and chmod or is it chmond?? (Sorry - very new to this)

Anyway....

My gallery has been working fine. I used to be able to upload an image into an album and see rows of thumbnails. When you click on the thumbnail a second page opens up and you see the larger image.

Now that I have changed to GD2 versus IM..... I can upload the thumbnail but when you click on it you see "file 1 of xxxx" and no image.

Can someone please let me know or piont me in the right direction so I can have the larger image appear.
