Album names with double-byte characters

I have set the CPG to use unicode and I have successfully created an album with double-byte characters (Chinese characters).  However, I cannot find this album under /albums/folder/

I tried to manually create this album and put some pictures in it, but "batch upload" doesn't work, it shows "PB" on the status.  "Upload files" doesn't work too, it shows "the previous file could not be placed"

Does CPG support double-byte characters in album names?  What have I missed then?

Album names are not related to folder names. Coppermine supports unicode in album names but you should not use special characters for folder names on the web.
