Unable to make updates.

I switched to CPG 1.4 recently and have started having problems.

When I upload files manually on the Upload File page, it lets me select photos, but when I press 'Continue' it just returns to the Upload File page rather than go on to place the files. Also, when I try to add a new album I'll press 'Apply Modifications', but it shows no change and doesn't add the album.

I haven't tried batch adding files because I cant create an album to add the files to.

Update to 1.4.19 first.

The gallery logged me out and is not letting me login.
I've updated to 1.4.19

Clear cookies.

I did both, but it didnt work.
When I try to login it does give me the message "Couldn't log in. Try again", it just resets to the /login.php page.

Maybe you don't have a user with user_id "1" in your database. Do you have access to your database via phpmyadmin, mysqldumper or another database administration tool?

This doesn't help, because randomglitz can't login to his/her gallery
