I've been trying to solve this all day, so I'm finally asking for help.
I've created some albums as admin, but when I log in as a registered user, I don't see the albums in the drop down menu.
I can see them and upload to them as admin only.
I've taken all the advice I can find by searching this board and looking at the docs.
In the groups control panel, Registered users are allowed to upload to public albums.
In the album properties settings, visitors can upload files is set to yes.
Private albums are enabled.
In the album properties pages, Album can be viewed by is always defaulting to "Me only," but when I pull it down to Everybody, and update the album it tells me "no update needed."
Any clues?

Coppermine version: 1.4.18

Make sure you are not setting an album password.

I didn't set any passwords, but whenever I went into an album's properties, there were six little black dots on the password field. All I had to do was delete them, update the album and my problem was solved, even though the little black dots are still there when I go into the properties. Weird, but it works!
Thanks,
Greg
