I don't need a fully integrated install of CM 1.2.1 and IPB 1.3.  I'd just like to use registration and login from IPB for both.  I've got a standalone CM with it's own database and a hyperlink from IPB to the CM.

Is there a hack available?

Take a look at the invision bridge file in the /bridges directory.
"Then, Fletch," that bright creature said to him, and the voice was very kind, "let's begin with level flight . . . ."

What about the invision bridge file ? How do you link them ?

I read the documentation and it suggests/recommends having the same database for both the board and the gallery. Suppose I have two databases and both are up and running, how do I still link them ?

Joachim Müller

unless you're a very good coder, you can't.

Ok, YIKES! I just linked them, but apparently......all the users in my photo gallery are screwed up. The usernames are wrong, and everything is haywire. I had 37 registered users on the board...and 60 in my gallery. So now I have only the boards members in the gallery and all other members have the name "???" How do i fix this ?
