Hi all.

I would like to share my pictures only with my frineds, they can open it with password. However if I set my albume to private, no one can see it except me.
I wonder to ask any ideas to set my album to private and registed user can open it with the password, please.
Also, I have enable "Show private album Icon to unlogged user ", I have test it as a unloged user and registed user, however still can not see the album....

If possible, how can I change the code for this function?
Here is the web: www.gaoyan.co.uk
admin name: ***
password: ***
Many thanks

Posting an admin account on a public board is not a very bright idea. I edited it out in your initial posting.
Why are you using the user gallery if you're going to be the only uploader? Create a public category, create an album within it and upload your files there.
Why do you try to implement this with a by-album password? This will be very annoying for your friends. Create user accounts for them, disable registration and disallow anonymous access. This will be much better - easier for you to administer and easier for your friends to view the pics.

Hi Thanks for reply and this web only for testing first. Well, the other CPG will be for the public, not only for my friends.
Some of my albums, I'd like to set them to private, registed user can see it and only password can be accessed. So other users won't get into without pw.

At moment, I couldn't see my private album when I loged in as other user....

Sorry for this strange question.
Thanks for your helping

You need at least one non-private album. It's a known problem.

The non-private album need to be in the same category (owned by the same user) as the private album.

It's working now for the 'test' user. If you want it to work for the 'gao' user then you need to add a non-private album for 'gao'.
