Oups, I missed a message.

put JUpload session management, and debug level to false. It should work.

If not, please post the log file.

Etienne

ksxj

when I leave the session management blank or false instead of jupload I get the success error every time.  It has done that before and after all the changes.

I still have the id/password setup that I sent you before if you want to try.

I really appreciate all your time and effort into helping me.  Really wish we wern't hosting with yahoo, cause my other sites with godaddy work great with this plugin.  But didn't choose yahoo and can't change it to something else either :(

It would have been nice that you read and test this.
:(

I just applied that, and it works. I just create an album named 'test', and upload a small gif inside. I removed the album, to let your gallery clean.

Etienne

ksxj

I did test it, and just tried again and getting the http status 500 internal server error again.

But you got it to work? Did you try more than one file, cause during my testing it allowed a single file to upload once and then came back to try more than one file and errored out everytime since...

etienne_sf

I just uploaded three pictures in one upload. Without problem.

But I repeat the crash when uploading one bigger picture.

Can you activate a more verbose output on PHP, so that we get the reason of the HTTP 500 ? Perhaps you have acces to the PHP log?  There must be a problem in the modification you dif with 'noip'.

Etienne

ksxj

Not sure how to do that, but if you tell me where to look or change something I will!

etienne_sf

If you have access to access to the php.ini file, you can.

=> But you probably may not do that.

I'll see if I can do it into the PHP code

ksxj

I looked for the php.ini file in the root of gallery/forum/ and the website.  And the root where myphp is installed.  Somewhere else I could look.  Thanks again for all your help!

Joachim Müller

It's strange that so many people are asking how to edit php.ini. This is what I have posted two times already today:
Quote from: Joachim Müller on October 13, 2008, 07:12:21 AM
You probably can't change it anyway. Take a look at the output of phpinfo.php to find out what php.ini file is being taken into account. Ask your webhost if you're allowed to edit it or come up with your own copy of that file and where it resides. The file php.ini doesn't come with coppermine - it's part of the webserver setup. We can't help you with questions related to it nor can we tell you where it is located.

ksxj

well it doesn't appear I have access to were that file is located...  :(

etienne_sf

I'm about to release a new version.

I'll embed a simplified version of the JUpload Session Management : witout the IP control.

Etienne

ksxj

Cool, I look forward to it!  Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate the time and your patience.

If you need someone to test the new version I would be happy to be one of your test monkeys ;)

beachjunkey

I look forward to the updated release too.  I'll spare you the details until I try your update, but long story short I am experiencing the same issues as ksxj and have tried everything in this topic.  I'm running bridged to phpbb3, on a shared godaddy plan w/o access to php.ini.  However, JUpload works fine for me in the Safari web browser (only w/o JUpload session mgmt), but not IE, FF, or Opera.

I do love the mod, great work!
mark

ksxj

I have tested the new version and it has fixed my issues.  It does not like it if you open another browser to the website while it is downloading but I can live with that.  Thanks for all the help and a great mod!!!!

beachjunkey

Awesome thanks for the update ksxj, I'm looking forward to getting the latest release working on mine too.
