How do I use custom content?

"A block to have custom content like a news feed, info about the site ect"

what is this, and where do i 'turn it on' or play with it?

It is the anycontent block you can place it like other meta albums in config .  eg: breadcrumb/alblist/catlist/random,2/lastup,2/anycontent

Then edit anycontent.php to suit your needs
