upgrading from phpBB2 - phpBB3 want some advice

i might be getting mixed up but i thought you supplied the code in the announcement about the update  it might be another version where it was only a few fixes 


i can now access the gallery instead of getting redirected back to my forum

but as you pointed out its not showing as been logged in

i have changed the cookies to match the one in the BBS as you said and im now showed as logged in

im just not admin now

got it

changed this in the bridge file to match my admin group

      // Group ids
      $this->admingroups = array(2096);
      $this->guestgroup = 1;

user test account works fine aswell

From the announcement thread:

Manually fixing the weakness will of course only address the vulnerability, but will not fix the non-security-critical issues that have been taken care of in cpg1.4.19

If you need details, start a new thread on this, but it should be pretty obvious: the manual fix described in the announcement thread will only fix the security flaw, but it will not cure the other non-critical bugs that have been fixed with the release of cpg1.4.19. This being said: perform a real, genuine update as suggested in the docs instead of just fixing the vulnerability. Upgrading coppermine is a breeze, so there's no reason to be alarmed or afraid from performing the update.

i have the new files so will just update it
