Sorry to sound dumb in my second posting of today.

I have noticed that when people add photos to an existing album the position in the album of the other photos move.  Is this only controlled by the 'sort my pictures' function and if so can it be overridden to stop them moving pictures around or is there a way to fix the position once an photo is posted.  The issue is causing posted links to no longer be valid when linking to a picture from a post i.e. the wrong photo is displayed.

Any guidance to help me understand how best to configure this would be gratefully received.

Thanks for posting this. I never saw this happen in the past 4 years, so I was really confused! Solved my problem, too!
