Hello!

I recently change of host, and I'm having some problems to upload pictures in it. If I choose GD2 as a Method for resizing images none is added, no matter the size. When I click in the 'Click here to reload' a Error 500 - Internal server error page is showed.
If I use imageMagick I can add pictures but, if there are more than 10 pictures at once to add, most of them will show the 'Click here to reload' and when I click, the pic is add. But only one by one.

I already wrote to my host 1and1.com and they changed some settings in the php.ini file, but no changes. They asked me now to ask for support here at coppermine.

The GD2 libary is enable, I read it in the phpinfo file.

Any ideas of what the problem can be?

The URL of the gallery is: http://www.lionandlamblove.org/gallery/

Thanks!

Read the docs here. They show you some specific things required so supporters can look into the problems. Without all those things done it is very hard to see what is going on.

1and1 have some limits on the size of files that can be uploaded, the amount of memory on the shared server that can be utilized etc. These can cause problems which are very hard to get round.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Thanks for reply :)

I did as the http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upload_support
And create the new account with upload privileges:
http://www.lionandlamblove.org/gallery/index.php
user: test
pass: test

I tested with that user uploading by http, but the problem only shows when  we upload more than 10 pictures at once by Batch add files.

But if the problem is with 1and1... Maybe is better to change host?

Thanks,

Joachim Müller

Regular http uploads work as expected - see http://www.lionandlamblove.org/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-27775
You're probably running into server-sided limitations. Ask your webhost for support, the server log should give details on the 500 internal server error.
