Hello and THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH in advance for your help!!

I want to remove the thumnail from my album list view. In other words, I just want the title of my album to be visible, without the thumbnail next to it.

There's no way to do this without digging into the php files. Is there anyone out there who's done this or knows how to do this?

Thank you again, SOOO MUCH!!

Copy $template_album_list from the sample theme into your theme.php and remove the image part, so change this

        <tr>
                <td align="center" valign="middle" class="thumbnails">
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="{THUMB_CELL_WIDTH}" height="1" class="image" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; border: none;" alt="" /><br />
                        <a href="{ALB_LINK_TGT}" class="albums">{ALB_LINK_PIC}<br /></a>
                </td>
                <td>
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" />
                </td>
                <td width="100%" valign="top" align="left" class="tableb_compact">
                        {ADMIN_MENU}
                        <p>{ALB_DESC}</p>
                        <p class="album_stat">{ALB_INFOS}</p>
                </td>
        </tr>

to maybe this

        <tr>
                <td colspan="3" width="100%" valign="top" align="left" class="tableb_compact">
                        {ADMIN_MENU}
                        <p>{ALB_DESC}</p>
                        <p class="album_stat">{ALB_INFOS}</p>
                </td>
        </tr>

I put the sample theme.php into my custom theme and did exactly what you suggested. Worked perfect! Thanks so much~!!!!

That's not what you should do. You mustn't copy the entire content of themes/sample/theme.php into themes/yourtheme/theme.php
Just copy the section you want to see changed from the sample theme into your custom theme. In your case, copy// HTML template for the album list
$template_album_list = <<<EOT

<!-- BEGIN stat_row -->
        <tr>
                <td colspan="{COLUMNS}" class="tableh1" align="center"><span class="statlink">{STATISTICS}</span></td>
        </tr>
<!-- END stat_row -->
<!-- BEGIN header -->
        <tr class="tableb_compact">
<!-- END header -->
<!-- BEGIN album_cell -->
        <td width="{COL_WIDTH}%" valign="top">
        <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
        <tr>
                <td colspan="3" height="1" align="left" valign="top" class="tableh2">
                        <span class="alblink"><a href="{ALB_LINK_TGT}"><b>{ALBUM_TITLE}</b></a></span>
                </td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
                <td colspan="3">
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" /><br />
                </td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
                <td align="center" valign="middle" class="thumbnails">
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="{THUMB_CELL_WIDTH}" height="1" class="image" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; border: none;" alt="" /><br />
