I have been searching around the site for almost a hour now, but i can find no exact info on the up coming 1.5 release, and the difference in resource usage.

The reason i speak of this first, is i am unsure if i should spend a good deal of Money to get it 'fine-tuned' now, or if 1.5 will bring reduced Server Load/Memory usage on a LARGE CPG (Pushing 50-90k pics).

I know this may be off a little bit, but having no 'general' section to ask in first, i felt this was the closest applicable Area. If i'm completely blind, and missed it somewhere (I've looked all over -.-), then please inform me, then call me a idiot lol :)

Thanks.

There are several performance improvements in 1.5. Whether you will notice any improvement depends on where the bottleneck is for your particular setup.

Your feedback on 1.5 will be much appreciated once we release the alpha.

Thank you very much for that reply :) Caching related issues are not one of them, as we have a custom one put in (since that WAS a huge issue). I should try to locate the direct cause of the Issues, so i could have been more specific... However, i will wait until the Alpha comes up and then give proper feedback based on that, rather then 'guess' what might improve :)

We're not fond of questions about cpg1.5.x posted on the cpg1.4.x boards. There is a reason why there is no support board available yet for cpg1.5.x: because there is no support yet for cpg1.5.x.
Look, we understand that you're exited about a new version. But since cpg1.5.x isn't ready yet, we can hardly say how themeing will differ, as we don't know for sure. We'll anwers questions on cpg1.5.x when it will be ready.
Please do not post further questions on cpg1.5.x, OK?
