First,  This is a 1.3 install, BUT the same error happened on my 1.2 install, so I thought that I would try the newer version.

The install went flawlessly (nice script), then, as per the subject, batch add *most* of the thumbs are missing (red x), but when I click on the red x, the full size pic pops up, so I try to insert into an album that I have created.  It moves along, and all the ones with the rex x obviously fail, except for the ones that had the thumb created.  All of the successful ones are smaller photos - most of my photos are 2.1MP (700-800kB), and the smaller ones are just cropped, not resized.

I have my max pic size at default (1024kB), and bumped my max res (3000), but with no luck.  Please don't tear me up on the 1.3 issue as this was exactly the same in then1.2 install as well.

I would appreciate any help.  I have not even bothered to transfer my host, but here is my IP.  This is my new host, and I suspect that they are the cause of this issue with a php.ini setting, or an old dependency or something.

Gratefully,

Not only file size is taken into account, but resolution as well. When using single uploads over http ("regular" upload), you'll get an error message like
QuoteFatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted
when trying to upload a pic that is too big (in pixels). Read http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=3417 for details. Recommended solution: resize pics before uploading.
