First I apologize if anyone feels this is not the correct forum, this is an issue I've discovered by doing a migration, however I subsequently tried a fresh install and get the same issue.  I'm not sure if this is a coppermine issue or if it is more of a server setup issue.

I migrated from a paid webhosting company to a WAMP setup I'm hosting from home.  There is no point posting a URL, because I haven't gotten to the stage of setting up the dynamic DNS yet, so there is no internet access yet.  The issue I have is that when I go to batch edit files I get the following:

Quote
Select directory
This function allows you to add a batch of files that your have uploaded to your server by FTP.
      please select a directory
         /D:\wamp\htdocs\sitename\coppermine\albums/
There are no folders inside the "albums" folder yet. Make sure to create at least one custom folder within "albums" folder and ftp-upload your files there. You mustn't upload to the "userpics" nor "edit" folders, they are reserved for http uploads and internal purposes.
Select the directory where you have uploaded your files.
Browsable interface (recommended)    Yes    No

If I go to the browsable interface I can see all of the albums with no issue, however when I add the albums the pictures it for some reason adds every picture twice.  I have modified all album permissions to 777 to test but it hasn't made a difference.  To me it seems like the issue has to do with /D:\wamp\htdocs\sitename\coppermine\albums/  it is the correct directory, but I'm not sure if that /D:\ is messing things up.  I read through the rules and I think I've included all the info that is required.  If not please let me know.

The WAMP has:
# Apache HTTPD 2.2.11 + Openssl 0.9.8i
# MySQL 5.1.30
# PHP 5.2.8
# phpMyAdmin 3.1.1

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

Browsable batch add does not work on windows servers. It's a known issue.

For the dupes, give the fix mentioned in http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,57717.0.html a try.

ss3vegeta

Your answer is very short and to the point.  I like it.  The fix you point out does in fact resolve the double pic issue.

Thank you Nibbler.

For a hack to fix the browsable batch add interface, check this thread: http://coppermine-gallery.net/forum/index.php?topic=30799.0
I've been using that one since 2006 and it still works! :)
