Ecard - no image

Just a question...I have coppermine running on my local host (not public). I send an ecard to someone and all they get is the text of the message.

Is this due to the fact that coppermine pulls the image from the webserver when the message is read by the recipient?
Is there a way to actually send the image and not have to rely on the system being up to view the image on the ecard?

no, this is not how coppermine works, and nobody has ever posted a hack to accomplish this. What should be the use of it anyway? Why send an ecard to someone who can't view the gallery?
