Mr-Cute

hey,, after i move all folder to another server
and i use mysqldumber to create backup of my database
i restore it on the new server with different name
and i change inc/config.php

but each time i try to open 67.212.70.137/gallery

i have this msg

Fatal error :

anyone can help ?

Joachim Müller

Not related to install, moving accordingly.

Maybe you should try to be more accurate: if you performed the server move in the same way you composed your posting, you probably have made some mistakes: the application name is "mySqlDumper", not "mySqlDumber" (the name comes from the process of dumping a database and is not related to the word "dumb") and the file that needs editing is include/config.inc.php instead of inc/config.php

Mr-Cute

yeah sorry i use mySqlDumper
and i edit the correct file include/config.inc.php

i put the name of new database , the username and the password

mmmm
also if i try to go to gallery/admin.php
i have same message , can i open my gallery in safe mode for example ?
its possible Template Probleme ?

N.B. : i MOVE EVERYTHING from old Server to the new server

and when i finish copying , i change the DNS from the old ip to the new ip

Joachim Müller

Do as Nibbler suggested and enable debug_mode.

Before you do that, upgrade: on http://67.212.70.137/gallery/, you're running cpg1.4.20, while the most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.21.

Mr-Cute
