Hello there,

I am very new to here and that kind of editing.
Somho I managed to post the gallery on the server and made it working.
But now when I want to change title for example in editing the picture it says file extension forbidden.
Please let me know how can I change this and let my users change the name of the files.
I just uploaded about 2000 pictures I can't start all over again.
There must be some way!
Please let me know!

Maria
Sincerely hope that soembody can help me!

Post a link to your gallery and what exactly happens: you do what and you get what error message (detailed, word by word).

Hello!

I didnt move it anywhere but the site server was down for two days. Then it was on again but my gallery gave me this error!

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'include/functions.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/lib/php') in /users/mechona/public_html/Coppergall/include/init.inc.php on line 176

Please if someone can help me, let's do it because there I have over 4000 pictures... :-(

The error message means that a file is missing or corrupt. Download a fresh coppermine package and upload all files it contains over your existing gallery, as if you were performing an update. This will fix your issues. If you need details, post details (as per board rules).

And if I mistake something and delete everything?!  :'(
I am very scared of making a mistakle.. I uploaded it somehow on magic!
Can you tell me how to do it step by step or do it the way I could  prbably delete nothing by mistake?!

Here is the site that is on simple html.
http://mecho.name
Then I put the gallery! /It was working fine from over than half a year before this happen!/
Suddenly the server I pay to keep my site I guess it was down because two days there was no site!
Then the site came but then the forum on the site went slow as a snail and the gallery when you click on it.. just shows me this:
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'include/functions.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/lib/php') in /users/mechona/public_html/Coppergall/include/init.inc.php on line 176

The main link of the gallery is: http://mecho.name/Coppergall/index.php

I just called the host but.. they will do anything about it!
:'(

Please if you can do something to help me will be very deeply thankful to you!

Then make a backup first, as suggested in the docs (section "upgrading"). Not sure what should go wrong when FTP-uploading a corrupt file. If you're afraid of that then maybe you should review the idea to administer a PHP driven app on your website, or maybe even review the entire idea to run and maintain a website of your own.
Anyway, you can't expect more help than being told what you need to do. Don't expect that we'll do your work.

I merged the two extra threads that have been split from unrelated threads you tried to hijack. Respect board rules!
